It Has Been an Exciting and Busy Time for Syneron-Candela as the Company Participated in a Number of Important Industry Events

EADV – Gothenburg, Sweden
October 6-9 marked the 19^th Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the most important European congress for dermatologists. Syneron-Candela successfully launched its new branding since the two companies merged, and was rewarded with extremely positive feedback from the international attendees. The EADV’s congress was introduced to CO₂RE™, the company’s new fractional
CO₂ rejuvenation system. During a symposium, several international opinion leaders presented a number of Syneron-Candela technologies to the European dermatologists. Dr. Michael Gold and Dr. Ines Verner presented impressive case studies and results on Sublative Rejuvenation™ with the eMatrix™ system. Dr. Maurice Adatto shared his experience and success with the VelaShape^® II, while Dr. Ageneta Troilius discussed remarkable advances in PDL treatments.

Salón Look – Madrid, Spain
Syneron-Candela was also a participant at Salón Look, the most important international meeting in the beauty care industry. Taking place on October 15-17, the event attracted more than 60,000 visitors while 300 exhibitors displayed their products and technologies. Syneron-Candela brought a great deal of attention to their booth with a VelaSmoothPro™ raffle as well as demonstrations of VelaSmoothPro treatments.

Forum Estetica Viva – Lisbon, Portugal
The Forum Estetica Viva, the largest aesthetics meeting in Portugal, was held on October 23-24. More than 20,000 visitors and 110 exhibitors were present for the event. The prominent activities in Syneron-Candela’s booth were the official launch of the new VelaSmoothPro, a VelaSmoothPro drawing for visitors and live demonstrations of the product.

COPLASDY – Barcelona, Spain
Syneron-Candela was also a strong presence at the first World Congress on Controversies in Plastic Surgery and Dermatology (COPLASDY) on November 5-7, garnering an impressive amount of podium time. Experts engaged the visitors with several scientific lectures and symposia; in particular, new facial treatments and the introduction of the CO₂RE system.

IMCAS – Paris, France
Syneron-Candela enjoyed prominent exposure at the hugely successful IMCAS 2011, which took place January 7-9. This important international exhibition was the setting for the new CO₂RE and ePrime™ systems, as well as the skin lightening products of elure™. The booth, featuring the introduction of the “Science. Results. Trust.” brand approach and marketing materials, had a prime location in the exhibition hall and was visited by numerous doctors, distributors, and other attendees. At the scientific level, there was a strong podium presence with several lectures on the new products, a lecture by Shimon Eckhouse, live demos of the CO₂RE and eMatrix systems, and two symposia on facial and body treatments.

AAD – New Orleans, LA
Syneron’s newest and exciting line of aesthetic products was introduced at the AAD in February 2011.

ASLMS – Grapevine, TX
Syneron-Candela exhibited its entire family of products, highlighted by the launch of the GentleLASE PRO™ system.
